They might not be old enough to walk or talk but newborns are the next likely center of the Arizona immigration firestorm.

State Sen. Russell Pearce says that he is intent on introducing legislation that would deny birth certificates to “anchor babies,” the children of illegal immigrants born in the U.S.

There is clear concern that this kind of legislation is a violation of the 14th Amendment, which grants citizenship to persons born in the U.S.

“white people are a dying race” That is something that was said to me by a lawyer today. She brought up the point that white people are having less and less children and more and more white people are becoming old. If we get rid of all of the immigrants, who is going to pay for the older generations social security?

Even undocumented immigrants pay taxes for social security. So, why does that make you want to rid of them all?

How is it that it became OK to call humans aliens? Since when did illegal become a noun? Does no one think that is wrong to call someone an alien? That is basically off the bat saying they are criminals, dangerous and unwanted. You do not know them personally, so how can you group them all into this harsh category.

“They come here to live with us and don’t work and don’t try to learn English.”

How many times have you heard that one? We complain constantly about immigrants not learning any English, call them lazy and whine about it. Now let’s break this down:

—> Person knows no English but conditions are devastating in his own country and there is no available education to learn fluent English before coming.

—> Person risks his life to come to the US in hopes of making a new life

—> Person has no idea what to do except work. He works 12 hour shifts every single day, and has no idea where or how to learn English.

CULTURE SHOCK: is the difficulty people have adjusting to a new culture that differs markedly from their own.

To just to support our complaints of immigrants not learning the language, we deny them education!!!

How does this make sense?
